GF Banana Brownie

I love baking with my 5 year old daughter and she wanted to try something new instead of cake or cookies for her brothers 4 month birthday so brownies it is šŸ˜‚! This is glutenfree, no sugar (maple syrup), no wheat flour recipe that will keep your holidays on a healthier side !!


Serving Size : 9 slices

Prep ā°: 10 mins | Cook ā° : 30 mins


Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1 cup oats flour

2 eggs

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/4 chunky peanut butter

1/2 cup yogurt

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp chopped walnuts

3 tbsp dark chocolate pieces

2 tbsp cocoa powder

1 tsp baking powder



Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9x9 pan with butter or line the pan with parchment paper

  • Take bananas in a mixing bowl and mash the bananas well or puree them with a hand blender.

  • Now add eggs, yogurt, peanut butter, vanilla extract, maple syrup and mix well.

  • Stir in the oats flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, walnuts, dark chocolate pieces in the bowl and combine well.

  • Pour the mixture into the tray and bake at 350 F (180 C) for 20-25 minutes or till a toothpick inserted comes out with crumbs. Dont over cook the brownies, itā€™s done with the top layer it not shiny anymore. Cool it down for 10-15 mins.

  • Serve them warm right away with some vanilla ice cream !! Enjoy the holidaysšŸ˜Š!
