Savory Buckwheat Pancakes

These Buckwheat Pancakes aka Kuttu flour Dosas add variety to daily meals and is easy way to sneak in veggies for toddlers and if needed it can be gluten-free !


Ingredients

1.5 Cups Buckwheat Flour or Kuttu Flour

1 Cup Semolina or Sooji ( skip this if you eat gluten free. Substitute with Rice flour for crispiness)

1 Grated Cucumber

1 Grated Carrot or any other vegetable of choice

1 Finely chopped Onion

1/4 Cup Chopped Cilantro

1/2 Cup Indian curd or Plain Yogurt

1 Tsp Turmeric Powder

1 Tbsp Cumin seeds

Salt to taste



Instructions

-In Buckwheat flour, add all the ingredients and mix well( Water from veggies should mix well).

-Add water to bring the mixture to pancake (or dosa)batter consistency.

-Pour the batter on hot oiled skillet and cook till brown on both sides.

-Serve hot with Spicy Ketchup or Chutney. Enjoy!!
