Mac & Cheese is probably favorite meal for any kid and on my daughter's request we made it recently but in Instant Pot! Lucky for us, our daughter doesn't care for loads of cheese all the time in pastas or on pizza so made a light version that whole family can enjoy!

Ingredients
2 cups macaroni pasta
1 tsp garlic powder
1 cup milk
1 tbsp all purpose flour
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp dried basil or Italian seasoning
1/4 cup of cheese (used mozzarella, white cheddar, some nutritional yeast)
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste
water as required
Instructions
In 6 quart Instant Pot, select “Saute/More” mode with cook time of 12 mins.
Add oil and when hot, add some all-purpose flour and garlic powder. Sauté for a minute and add milk while stirring to avoid lumps
Cook the mixture while stirring for 3-4 minutes and add cheddar cheese, nutritional yeast.
Mix well and add salt, pepper, basil and enough water to cover the pasta.
Cancel Sauté mode and select “Pressure Cook/High” mode with cook time of 3 mins. Once done, quick release the pressure (QPR) after 2 mins.
Mix well and garnish with some mozzarella cheese (and crushed croutons).
Note : If there a more or less water, cook
pasta on Sauté to get right consistency.
Serve hot with bread and/or veggies and Enjoy !
