Khichdi is a lovely North Indian (mine is usually Gujarati style) dish made with rice and lentils (sometimes veggies) with few spices and one of the all time favorite comfort food. Usually after a long winter day, nothing feels better that a bowl of hot khichdi. We just made it with Fada/Dalia to keep it light for the night!
