Energy balls

These nuggets of goodness are perfect way to get kids to eat something healthy instead box of chocolates.


Ingredients

1 1/4 Cups of Ragi Flour

2 Tbsp of Clarified Butter/Ghee

3 Cups of nuts (Walnuts, Almonds, Pistachios, Peanuts)

3-4 Cardamom pods

3-4 Cups of Dates (pitted)

1/2 Cup of Dry coconut flakes


Instructions

-In a pan, heat 1/2 Tbsp of Ghee and add all nuts and the cardamom pods.

-Roast the nuts till golden brown and keep them aside.

-In the same pan, roast the ragi flour for 4-5 mins . Add coconut flakes once the pan is removed from heat, mix well and set it aside to cool down.

-In mixture or food processor, coarsely grind the dates

-Add nuts mixture to dates and grind them

-Add ragi flour mixture 3 Tbsp at a time and incorporating it well with dates-nuts mixture.

-Now the mixture is ready to be made into laddu/balls. Use remaining ghee as needed to form the laddu/balls. Enjoy yummy guilt free

treats!!
