Ingredients
7 red apples, finely grated (keep the skin on)
7 tsp clarified butter / ghee
3 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp cardamom powder / elaichi
1 tbsp of dry fruits (pistachio, cashews and raisins)

Instructions
In a pan (preferably non stick with heavy bottom), heat ghee and add 1 1/2 Tbsp dry fruits and sauté till they are golden brown.
Add the grated apples, sugar and mix well.
Keep stirring the mixture for 6-7 minutes on medium low or till apples are caramelized and aromatic.
Add cardamom powder and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes and set it aside to cool.
Garnish with some more nuts and enjoy this yummy dessert warm in fall/cold winters !
