A simple dish from mother/grandmother‘s thats really yummy and very easy to make and pairs well roti or dal chawal(lentil rice).

Ingredients
2 large radish/diakon, chopped (~2.5 cups)
1/2 tsp turmeric
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp curry leaves
1/2 tsp dry mango powder/ amchur
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp chopped radish leaves (if available) or coriander leaves
2 tbsp chickpea flour/ besan
pinch of asafoetida
1 tsp oil
salt to taste
In a pan, heat oil on medium high then add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Once they crackle, add asafoetida and curry leaves.
Now, add the radish, salt and cook with lid on for 2-3 minutes.
Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder, dry mango powder, chilli powder, garam masala, radish leaves (if available) and mix well.
Cook the mixture for 3-4 minutes or till oil starts leaving the sides. Add chickpeas flour and mix well. Cook covered for 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or dal-rice and enjoy !
