Pasta is pretty easy dish as it is and with Instant Pot it is one of the quickest and easiest dishes to make. An easy one pot meal for busy days, this is a must try ! This recipe was mainly for Christmas dinner so used mainly red and green vegetables.

Ingredients
3 cups pasta (5 grain pasta)
2 cups marinara sauce (store bought)
1 onion, chopped ~ 1 inch
2 tbsp sun dried tomatoes , chopped
1 green pepper, chopper ~1 inch
1/4 cup broccoli
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp marjoram
1 tbsp basil
1 tbsp chilli flakes (optional)
1 tbsp garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp crushed pepper
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste
Instructions
In 6 quart Instant Pot, select “Saute/More” mode with cook time of 12 mins.
Add oil and when hot, add onions, garlic and sauté till onions are little golden brown.
Now add sun dried tomatoes, peppers, broccoli and sauté the mixture for 1-2 minute.
Add pasta, marinara sauce, 1 cup of water or enough to just cover the pasta and mix well.
Now add basil, marjoram, Italian seasoning, chili flakes, pepper and salt to taste (depends on marinara sauce).
Cancel Sauté mode and select “Pressure Cook/High” mode with cook time of 2 mins. Once done, quick release the pressure (QPR) after 2 mins.
Note: This was the setting for multigrain
pasta. Durham wheat pasta might cook
much sooner (1 mins , QPR).
Mix well and garnish with some cheese/nutritional yeast (optional).Serve hot with bread or veggies and Enjoy !
