A sweet and sour condiment from my Naanu’s (Grandpa) kitchens ( Yes, everyone cooks!), this chutney is great way to use up soggy or neglected apples and works really well with rice or any North Indian snack !

Ingredients 3 red apples, peeled, cored, roughly chopped
1/4 cup coriander leaves
6 green chillies
1 tsp chopped ginger
1 tsp chaat masala
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp cumin seeds/ jeera
salt to taste
Instructions
In a blender, add apples, coriander, chillies, ginger, cumin, lemon juice, chaat masala and about 1 tsp of salt. Blend it to smooth consistency and add water only if needed as apple adds necessary liquid.
Store in refrigerator for a week and enjoy with any snack, wraps or sandwiches!
